The final four of the Turbo Knockout Tournament is complete after the final set of quarter-final matches on Thursday evening at the Ministry of Education ground. Camptown and Pouderoyen are the final two teams to join the semi-final line-up.

Camptown had to work hard for their win, prevailing with a 7-6 sudden death outcome after a 1-1 draw with Silver Shattas FC. It was a tough match for the two sides especially with their finishing as both sides didn’t seem to have the ability to take advantage of their opportunities.

Silver Shattas scored early with a goal in the 13th minute through a strike from Jumain Samuels as the first half ended 1-0. With the second half almost over and Silver Shattas seemingly parking the bus, Camptown got a breakthrough with a strike from Wayne Sharpells in the 85th minute to draw the game.

Meanwhile, Pouderoyen had to wait until extra time to secure their place in the final four with a 1-0 win against Mahaica Determinators. After a goal-less first half, the second half was much of the same story for both teams, but extra time produced the winner with Neil Lynton scoring the winner in the 107th minute.

The tournament will continue on Wednesday at the same venue with semi-final action featuring Camptown, Pouderoyen, Police and Grove Hi-Tech.
