Gunmen invade beauty salon in South Ruimveldt
Police are investigating the armed robbery committed just after noon on Saturday at the Ultimate Image Unisex Beauty Salon, located Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt Georgetown.
News Room was informed that two masked men, armed with guns invaded the beauty salon and pounced on 40-year-old Charis Hazel, a hairdresser; Wonda Mundy and Pauline Swan.
According to reports, Hazel was relieved of $68,700 cash and one J7 cellular phone, while Mundy was relieved of $16,000 cash and Swan, of $25,000 in cash.
News Room understands that the two suspects entered a door which was unsecured at the Southern side of the salon and escaped through a manhole situated on the Southern side of the Zinc and Wooden fence of the yard.
Investigations are ongoing.
