Minibus driver charged with rape of 13-Y-O girl

A Route 42 Minibus driver was on Wednesday charged and released on $150,000 by Magistrate Judy Latchman for engaging in sexual penetration with a 13-year-old girl.
Kevin Loafee, 23 of Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara was not required to plead to the indictable charge which alleged that between March 1 and March 2, 2017, at Timehri Circuit, EBD he engaged in sexual penetration with a child under the age of 16.
The matter was transferred to Chief Magistrate, Ann McLennan for December 4, 2017
