A popular businessman was shot to the back of his head and another part of his body when several gunmen stormed his clothing store at Arch road, Rose Hall Town, Berbice on Saturday afternoon.
News Room was told that approximately three men entered the Bobby’s General store at about 15:45hrs and posed as customers.
They then ordered the sales representatives to lie on the ground and proceeded to the 47-year-old man, Rajendra Prasad who was the cashier and shot him twice.
He was picked up and rushed to the Anamayah Private Hospital, stabilized and transported to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital where he is currently a patient.
