Police are on the hunt for two men who reportedly invaded the Guyamerica Internet Café on Durban Street, Lodge at approximately 19:30hrs on Tuesday night.
News Room understands that the victim, Keshanna Abrams was at the café when two men approached her and asked to make a phone call. She handed one of the men a phone when he showed her the handle of an object which was in a bag.
Abrams was then relieved of one Samsung J 5 cell phone, one handbag, $59,000 in cash, a DVR and one canister. News Room understands that the bandits placed a box on the victim’s head and assaulted her, after which they made good their escape on foot, East along Durban street. Police are reviewing CCTV cameras in the area.
