Christmas Tree collapses at Rahaman’s Park
The famous Christmas Tree at Rahaman’s Park, Greater Georgetown collapsed sometime today.

Reports are that the workmen were in the process of setting up the structure for the annual light-up ceremony. News Room could not verify if anyone was injured.

As a result of the incident, a major traffic buildup has occurred on the western carriageway of the East Bank Highway. News Room understands that the traffic jam runs all the way to the Harbour Bridge in Peter’s Hall.
