Police have arrested a 23-year-old man from Albouystown, Georgetown for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and he is currently being processed for court.
According to a statement, ranks were acting on intelligence gathered and visited a location at Hill Street, Albouystown about 19:20hrs on Friday where they confronted the man.
Police found a .32 Taurus revolver when they searched the man’s bag.
