Santa Claus ‘invades’ National Assembly

A woman dressed as Santa Claus had to be escorted out of the Parliament Buildings on Friday morning after she entered the Chambers ringing a bell while Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo was speaking.

News Room understands that security personnel stationed at the Parliament Buildings is unsure how the female Santa entered and the Clerk of the National Assembly had to get security to escort her out of the Chambers. News Room understands that the female Santa said she had a “gift” for the Opposition Leader.

News Room was reliably informed that the female Santa is the Secretary of a government minister.
