Woman with baby robbed at gunpoint on Church Street

Twenty-seven-year-old Abiosi Jordan begged a gunman not to rob her of her car as he ordered her to remove her baby from the back seat on Friday, December 15, 2017.

News Room was reliably informed that Jordan, a Procurement Analyst, parked her Silver Grey motorcar, PRR 8919 on Church Street, Georgetown in the vicinity of the National Library, as she waited on her husband at around 16:15hrs. She went over to the passenger front seat when the armed man confronted her and ordered her and the baby out of the car.

News Room understands that Jordan pleaded with the perpetrator not to take the vehicle and it was then that he told her to hand over her valuables and she complied. The perpetrator then reached into the vehicle and took out the cellular phones that were between the two front seats and made good his escape on foot east along Church Street.

The woman was also robbed of one gold ring value $35,000 and $35,000.
