Police are investigating the armed robbery committed on 54-year-old Audrey Ryan, a United States citizen, which occurred on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Thomas Street, Georgetown at approximately 11:15hrs.
News Room was reliably informed that Ryan, who is also the Vice Chairman of VXL Enterprise, located at Duke Street, Kingston, had just left Demerara Bank on Camp Street after depositing money and visited Eureka Labs when she was confronted by the bandit, who pointed a gun at her and snatched her handbag.
The bandit joined a waiting car and escaped. News Room was told that the American citizen lost two Samsung Galaxy cell phones, a Blu cell phone, a hard drive valued $16,000, her United States passport and driver’s license.
