Gunman hijacks car with sleeping child inside

Forty – three – year old Samantha Williams was left in a state of shock when a gunman attacked her and drove off with her Blue Spacio motorcar – PVV 9496 – with her 9-year-old niece sleeping in the back seat.

The incident occurred just after 10 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2017, when Williams arrived at her Diamond, East Bank Demerara home. News Room was reliably informed that the businesswoman was about to open the gate to park the car when she observed that the male had exited a car and charged towards her with a gun in his hand.

He jumped into her car and drove off with her niece asleep in the back seat, however, the suspect stopped the car about 100ft away and put the child out before escaping. Investigations are ongoing.
