A 40-year-old father of two was Wednesday morning murdered in Craig, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
Dead is Purcell Moore who was shot several times to his head shortly after he left his mother’s home around 5:30hrs this morning. Moore is a clothes vendor from Cayenne French Guiana who would often visit his family in Old Road, Craig.
Family members said they heard the gunshots and shortly after they received the news that it was Moore who was shot.
A niece told News Room that she saw Moore lying in a pool of blood in a drain while a gold chain he was wearing was left on the road. He was rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival. News Room will provide more details as it becomes available.
