Police are on the hunt for two men who executed a daring robbery just after noon on Thursday, December 21 at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara.

According to reports reaching News Room, 51-year-old Ramadhar Singh, a farmer, and his wife, 51-year-old Pranpattie Singh had just left Republic Bank at Vreed-en-Hoop, after withdrawing $1M when they were attacked by two armed men on a CG motorcycle in front their Windsor Forest home.

News Room understands that one of the gunmen discharged a round in the air, while the other suspect held the farmer at gunpoint and took away the money. They also took from his wife, her handbag and Blu cellular phone before escaping.

Reports indicate that after the couple left the bank, they did some errands in the Vreed-en-Hoop area before taking a car from Top Notch Taxi Service to head home.

While in front of their residence, the farmer went into the car trunk to remove some items he had purchased when he came under attack. Investigations are ongoing.
