The Bounty Colts became the first team to repeat as champions in the ‘Road to Mecca’ National Basketball Club Championships that concluded in the wee hours of Monday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Colts topped Linden’s Victory Valley Royals (VVR) 85-83 in a dramatic final. Shelroy Thomas led all scorers for the Colts with 28 points, while Harold Adams dropped 25 points for VVR. Shane Webster of Colts was the named the MVP of the tournament. (Treiston Joseph)
