Three females have been arrested in connection with the discovery of two unlicensed firearms and nine live found of ammunition following a police raid at a house in Durban Street, Lodge.
A brief police statement noted that the search was conducted at around 18:30hrs on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, when the police found a .32 pistol with three rounds and a sub-machine gun with six rounds.
Police said the raid was as a result of an intelligence-led operation.
