A 34-year-old Taxi Driver appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, charged with sexually assaulting two female sex workers.
Thurston Semple is accused of sexually assaulting one of the women on December 1, 2017, and the other on January 3 and January 4, 2018.
The Magistrate released Semple on $200,000 bail on each charge and adjourned the matter to February 5, 2018. It is alleged that Semple picked up the sex workers and agreed to pay them $10,000 for sexual favours.
However, he tied them up and left without paying them.
