Kaneville man killed after gunmen invade home
A 30-year-old man on Saturday, January 13 succumbed to injuries he sustained after gunmen invaded his home at Kaneville, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
According to a police statement, Ishwar Ramanah, known as Jack, was shot to his abdomen during a robbery at his home about 00:10hrs by one of two armed bandits.
He was rushed to the Diamond Hospital where he was treated and transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The man underwent surgery but later succumbed to his injuries.
