20-Y-O man in stable condition after three-storey fall
A father of one who fell from the third storey of the old New Amsterdam Psychiatric Hospital while conducting works to demolish the building on Monday is said to be in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Christopher Singh, 20, of Maida Farm, Corentyne, Berbice, was transferred to the city hospital on Monday.

Singh fell from the third floor of the building while “in the process of removing old boards,” Regional Health Officer, Jevon Stephens said. He disclosed that the building has been out of use and beyond repairs for over 15 years.
