A 28-year-old resident of Buxton, East Coast Demerara (ECD), who has been evading justice for some time after he was granted bail on a joint charge of rape, was apprehended by police on patrol on Tuesday night (January 16, 2018) at Sideline Dam, Annandale, ECD.
Police in a statement said that a wanted bulletin was out for his arrest. He is also wanted for questioning in relation to several armed robberies and at the time of his arrest on Tuesday night, he was found in possession of 29 grams of cannabis, packaged in small-sized zip lock bags.
