A 21-year-old Police Constable appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday, January 19, 2018, charged with engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.
It is alleged that in August 2017, Jamal Whyte engaged in sexual activities with a female under the age of 16, at Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Georgetown. He was not required to plea to the indictable offence.
Whyte was released on $250,000 bail and the matter is adjourned to January 30, 2018.
