Biker dies days after Wallers Delight accident

Thirty-year-old Cappel Deo of Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara (WCD), died at the Georgetown Public Hospital on Tuesday, January 23, two days after he crashed into a parked car on the Wallers Delight Public Road, WCD.

News Room understands that the biker succumbed to his injuries at around 12:30hrs without regaining consciousness. A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Thursday, January 25.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car, who was arrested has since been released on bail, police said.

News Room had reported that Deo was proceeding west along the southern carriageway of the road on his motorcycle, CD 4517 at about 19:00hrs when he allegedly lost control and collided with motorcar, PDD 4714 which was parked on the southern corner of the road.
