Two male suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting which occurred at 138 Victoria Street, Albouystown , Georgetown at about 13:30hrs on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Police stated that preliminary investigations found that two males went to the location on a motorcycle and engaged in a physical altercation with an unknown male.
It was noted that during the altercation, one of the suspects whipped out a handgun and discharged several rounds at their victim who managed to flee the scene, leaving a trail of blood.
The suspects, which include a member of the Joint Services, were arrested at Cooper Street, Albouystown.
Investigators have retrieved one live round as well as one spent shell from the scene.
