The building which has one access door, houses the PCA on the first flat, the Public Service Appellate Tribunal on the second floor and the office of the Ombudsman on the third flat. It was noted that at the time of the incident, the door was already secured by officers who left for the day.

News Room learnt that the building was being manned by female Special Constable, during the night of the incident.

It was disclosed that having arrived at about 08:30hrs on Friday, 53-year-old Sheldon Solomon, the Office Assistant attached to the PCA arrived at work to find that the western window on the lower flat was broken.

Subsequent checks found that the three offices were ransacked and one laptop along with two cellular phones were taken from the PCA, and one Acer laptop valued $200,000 and a router valued $55,005 were taken from the Tribunal’s office.

CCTV footage was retrieved and four prints were uplifted.
