Cummings Lodge youth found dead in pool of blood
The body of a 20-year-old man was discovered in a pool of blood on the northern half of the Oleander Garden Public Road, East Coast Demerara (ECD) at about 00:30hrs on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
According to police information, Hemchand Dalchand called Rakesh left his Cummings Lodge home in the company of some female friends to attend an entertainment show at the Ogle Community Center, ECD, at about 18:00hrs on Saturday evening.
However, his body was then discovered with several wounds and without the jersey and footwear.
Police are yet to ascertain how he died.
The body is at the Lyken’s funeral home awaiting a post-mortem scheduled Monday, January 29, 2017.
Investigations are ongoing.
