Female pump attendants robbed at gunpoint

Three female pump attendants were on Friday night robbed by a lone gunman at the Shell Gas Station in Mc Doom, East Bank Demerara (EBD).

News Room understands that the women were on duty when the gunman approached and held them at gunpoint at about 19:00hrs.

They were relieved of approximately $80,000 cash which is said to be the property of the gas station.

The man then made his good escape by foot.

Police visited the scene shortly after and combed the area but the man was not found.

Investigations are ongoing.
