A 60-year-old security guard was on Saturday evening (February 03) robbed of his motorcycle at gunpoint by two men on a motorcycle.
The incident occurred on the Good Hope Railway Embankment Road at around 23:00hrs as the man was heading home.
News Room understands that the security guard was riding his bike when he was approached from behind by the perpetrators on a motorcycle who ordered him to stop.
Thinking it was the police, the man complied but was robbed of his motorcycle which had the registration number CH 5712.
The suspects made their good escape, leaving the elderly man with his cellular phone and cash. Investigations are ongoing.
