A car which was participating in the King of the Strip Drag Meet toppled moments ago at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri East Bank Demerara.
News Room understands that the driver, Vivek Joshi, escaped unhurt; he was wearing all his protective gear. Reports indicate that he lost control of the car.
At the time of the accident, the track was wet, due to the inclement weather. As a result of the accident, the meet has been suspended and a new date will be announced for its continuation.
