The Ministry of Public Infrastructure has embarked on a project to remove all trailers and derelict vehicles from Government reserves to improve safety and reduce damages.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry said oftentimes, the vehicles left on Government reserves are unlit, thereby proving a safety hazard to road users.

In some cases – such as at Little Diamond, EBD – the trailers and/or derelict vehicles are left on sidewalks, making these facilities unavailable to pedestrians and cyclists.

The Ministry is urging the owners of trailers and derelict vehicles left on Government reserves to remove them immediately.
