    Banks DIH Limited continues its support for horse racing in Guyana and has committed its sponsorship of the first Triple Crown organised by Jumbo Jet Thoroughbred Racing Committee in association with Jumbo Jet Auto Sales.

    During a simple ceremony at Thirst Park, Banks DIH Limited handed over its sponsorship package including the Championship Trophy ahead of the first leg of the competition billed for March 4 at the Rising Sun Turf Club in West Berbice.

    Dennisa Paton, Sales Administration employee of Banks DIH Limited, made the presentation to Nasrudeen Mohamed, Event Coordinator, in the presence of Mortimer Stewart, Outdoor Events Manager and Irshad Mohamed. 

    Most of the country’s top race horses will compete for the prestigious prize and over $20 million in cash prizes over three days of competition. 

    The second leg will he held also at Rising Sun Turf Club, while the third and final leg will take place at Port Mourant Turf Club on the Corentyne. Mohamed said he was very happy to be partnering with Banks DIH Limited for the Triple Crown, the first of its kind in Guyana.
