The burnt remains of a man were discovered among the debris of the apartment complex and a house which were flattened by fire on Friday afternoon.
Commander of ‘C’ Division (ag) Edmond Cooper confirmed to the News Room that he just received reports of the body being found and he has dispatched officers to the scene.
The man is suspected to be James Johnson, an elderly man who has been missing since the fire destroyed the buildings at Plaisance, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
