Forty-nine-year-old Felicity Carmichael of North Sophia was walking on Pike Street, Kitty, Georgetown, when she was attacked by two men on a motorcycle on Sunday night at around 22:20hrs.
News Room understands that one of the men was armed with a handgun; the businesswoman was robbed of her Blu cellular phone, valued $ 18,000; a pair 20 pennyweight gold earrings valued $200,000 and $55,000 in cash.
According to reports, Carmichael was walking when the perpetrators blocked her path with a motorcycle; the rider pointed a gun at the victim’s face and told her to hand over all belongings.
She became afraid and the gunman snatched her handbag, which contained all the valuables and cash. Investigations are ongoing.
