Left-arm spinner Nikita Miller claimed a five-wicket haul as West Indies defended a disappointingly low score of 115 against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their second warm-up game of the ICC World Cup qualifier in Zimbabwe.

After losing by 29 runs to Afghanistan in their first warm-up two days ago, West Indies seemed in danger of another defeat at the innings break, but Miller with 5-20 from 10 overs ensured the Caribbean side won by 32 runs, dismissing UAE for 83 in 29 overs.

Shimron Hetmyer topscored with 20

UAE lost half their side with just 48 runs on the board and never recovered, with Miller running through the innings. Kemar Roach claimed 3-15 and Ashley Nurse 2-21.

Like they did against Afghanistan, West Indies again collapsed, this time from 66-2 in the 16th over to 115 in 33.4. Shimron Hetmyer topscored with 20; Chris Gayle made 16, Marlon Samuels 15 and Evin Lewis 10.

All the other batsmen fell for single figure scores. Imran Haider picked up 4-16, while there were two each for Mohammad Naveed, Rohan Mustafa and Ahmed Raza.
