A 26-year-old Bagotville, West Bank Demerara Footballer was today remamed to prison for an armed robbery committed on a Brazilian National at Port Kaituma.
Joseph Osborne known as ‘Kat’ appeared before Senior Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and denied the charge.
It is alleged that on September 22,2017 at Water Front Port Kaituma, Osborne robbed Francisco DaSantos of a quantity of gold valued $3M, during which he used personal violence.
Police Prosecutor, Gordon Mansfield made no objection to bail; however the Magistrate remanded Osborne to prison until March 14, 2018.
