A 22-year-old male sex worker today appeared before Senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate Court, charged with robbing an elderly Jamaican Tourist after an alleged “business transaction.”
Steffon Blades called ‘Stefanie’ denied that on March 7 at King Street, Georgetown he robbed Joseph Jewels of US$600 and $40,000 Guyana currency.
The victim told the court that he and Blades had a business transaction and he was robbed by the defendant after.
Police Prosecutor Simone Payne made no objection to bail.
The Magistrate released Blades on $75,000 bail and adjourned the matter to March 28, 2018.
