Morgan Learning Centre and Sir Leon Lessons continue to play good football, recording commanding victories in the Milo School Under-18 football tournament that continued at the weekend at the Ministry of Education ground.
Morgan Learning Centre ran all over St. Roses with a 7-0 win on Sunday. Morgan looked comfortable against a St. Roses side that lacked zeal in the match. Darien Dickson opened the scoring for Morgan with a double in eighth and 11th minutes to signal the start of the end for Roses.
Morgan’s passing display was on point as Koby Durant, Nixon Richardson, Kellon Blue, Ryan Dowding and Malcolm Diggins scored goals in the 16th, 43rd, 67th, 72nd and 89th minutes respectively.
On Saturday, Sir Leon Lessons topped Friendship Secondary 7-0. The game was the best showing for Sir Leon Lesson so far in the tournament as they were able to showcase their ability to score.
Lennox Young was in top form in front of goal with a quartet in the third, 10th, 45th and 48th minutes, while Ryan Ramsey scored a double in the 16th and 65th minutes. Julian Bamfield had a solo effort in the 74th minute.
Also on Saturday, Master Academy continued their good run in the tournament with another win, this time a 4-1 victory against Bishops’ High.

Daren Chan had the lone goal for Bishops’ High in the 17th minute. Switching back to Sunday, Buxton Youth Developers topped Vergenogen 6-1.
Vergenogen was not able to stay with the pace of Buxton and the East Coast outfit made a mockery of their defence. Shamar Scott dropped a quartet in the fourth, 54th, 74th and 83rd minutes.
Shamar Singh and Teshawn Gordon scored solo in the 41st and 87th minutes respectively.
