A resident of Moruca village was today remanded to prison for allegedly raping his 14-year-old female relative.
Jeffers Blake appeared before Senior Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and was not required to plea to the indictable offence.
It is alleged that on March 6, 2018, at Moruca Village, Region 1, he engaged in sexual activity with a child under the age of 16. He was remanded to prison until March 27, 2018.
