Henry Santiago is in a critical condition at the Mabaruma Hospital nursing multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and right hand, allegedly committed by his friend, 22-year-old Romel Marks, a fisherman of Morawhanna
News Room understands that on Saturday at around 23:30hrs, the two men – both fishermen- were imbibing when an argument ensued and Santiago allegedly chopped Marks to his right foot.
In retaliation, Marks reportedly broke a bottle and stabbed Santiago multiple times. Marks is in police custody.
