Matthew Vieira made a bold statement on Sunday, making a clean sweep of the Superstock races, while Andrew King won two of the three Group Four events at the National Race of Champions at South Dakota Circuit.

Vieira won all three of the Superbike events to start the season in grand fashion. Though he was challenged throughout by Raveiro Tucker, Vieira had enough to lift the chequered flag on all three occasions.

Tucker had to settle for three second place finishes.

King, in his Mazda RX7, won two of the Group Four races, with long-time rival Mark Vieira settling for a win and two second place finishes.

In the Street Tuner category, Raymond Seebarran, who impressed last season, continued with that same great form, winning two races and placing second in the other, which was won by Narine Dasrat.
