Phillips, Williams through to 200m final at Carifta

Sprint aces, Kenisha Phillips and Daniel Williams are through to Monday’s 200 metres final at the Carifta Games that continued on Sunday in The Bahamas.

Williams, running in heat three, finished second with a time of 21.21s behind Jamaica’s Christopher Taylor who recorded the fastest qualifying time of 20.65s in the boy’s under-20 category.

Phillips, on the other hand, finished third in her under-20 girl’s heat to qualify for the final with a time of 24.8s.

Bronze medallist in the 400m at this Carifta Games Deshanna Skeete was unable to make the final in the girl’s under-17 200 metres, clocking a time of 24.79s to finish second in her heat.
