Chantoba Bright has been a model of consistency for Guyana, grabbing her second medal at the 2018 Carifta Games with a bronze on Sunday in The Bahamas.
Bright, who won gold a day earlier in the Girls Under-20 long jump, made a leap of 12.14 metres for bronze, narrowly missing the gold medal.
Leonoe Farquharson of Jamaica won the event with a jump of 12.24 metres, while Lotavia Brown also of Jamaica got silver with a leap of 12.23 metres.
Guyana also had a few other competitors during the day’s action, but unfortunately none were able to land on the podium.
