Guyana got its first relay medal in the history of the Carifta Games when the under-20 girls got bronze on Monday evening in The Bahamas.
The quartet of Joanna Archer, Kezra Murray, Chantoba Bright and Kenisha Phillips ran a time of 3:54.38s to take the third place position in 4×400 metres event.
This is Guyana’s seventh bronze medal of the Carifta Games and will end the event for Guyana which tallied eight medals with Bright getting the only gold medal.
