Viva flavoured water hits local stores
Meeting the general target of consuming eight glasses of water a day has gotten easier with the launch of ‘Viva Sparkling Flavoured Water’ in Guyana.
This new flavoured water is produced by Trinidadian beverage firm, SM Jaleel and will be distributed by its local subsidiary, Guyana Beverages Incorporated.
The product was officially launched Saturday night at Palm Court, Main Street amid pomp and ceremony.
Cindy Gafoor, the Group Marketing Manager at SM Jaleel, explained that the Viva Flavoured Water is delicious, healthy and more importantly, not boring.
“Sometimes plain water can be boring and a task to drink. Viva Sparkling Flavoured Water is water, but better,” Gafoor said.
She said the Viva Flavoured Water is better because it has zero calories, zero sugar, it is made with real fruit juice, has green tea extracts, antioxidants and Vitamin B6.
President of the Georgetown Chambers of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Deodat Indar congratulated the company for stepping up its marketing effort in rebranding this product.
The Viva Sparkling Flavoured Water is available in three flavours: strawberry/watermelon, pomegranate/blueberry, and orange/mango.
