Gunshots ring out at Corona final

The 2018 edition of the Corona Futsal final had to be postponed on Saturday evening due to ruckus behavior by fans at the National Gymnasium.

After an argument ensued between a male and a female, a few gunshots were heard causing panic in the well-attended futsal final between Bent Street and Sparta Boss.

The incident transpired during the halftime break where Sparta Boss was ahead 2-nil. Gregory Richardson and Jeremy Garrett were the scorers.

Organisers have confirmed that they will be discussing the way forward for the final with the relevant stakeholders of the tournament.
