Eteringbang Airstrip to be closed for 7 days

In an effort to improve the quality of the Eteringbang airstrip, the Ministry of Public Infrastructure will be commencing the chemical stabilisation of the runway surface sometime during the week of April 22, 2018.

A statement from the Ministry today noted that this exercise will last for approximately seven days from the date of commencement.  As a result, the runway will be closed during the period of ongoing works.

Relevant stakeholders, including residents and village leaders, have already been informed of the upcoming closure, the Ministry said.
