Hand-In-Hand onboard with Martial Arts Championship

Korean International Martial Arts Guyana, in collaboration with a host of partners, will in July host the third Guyana, South America Undiscovered Martial Arts Championship at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

On Thursday, the organisers did the official launch, highlighting what is expected at the three-day event, billed for July 20-22.

At the launch, Hand-In-Hand Mutual Fire and Life Insurance Companies confirmed its support of the event, presenting six beautiful trophies that would be at stake at the championship.

Marketing Coordinator of the company, Shafeena Juman, was on hand to present the trophies to KSN Roland Eudoxie of the organising body. Juman said Hand-In-Hand Mutual Fire and Life Insurance Companies is pleased to support the initiative.

“On behalf of the Hand-In-Hand Mutual Fire and Life Insurance Companies, it is our pleasure to be part of this event for the first time. We have always been a proud supporter of sport and youth development within our communities, and we see this as an opportunity to fulfil our corporate and social responsibility,” Juman said.

The event will see participation from Guyana, Suriname, USA, Grenada, Brazil, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. Also slated to appear at the event are Billy Blanks, Master Art Camacho and KJN Eric Kovaleski. 

Other corporate partners are Guyana Undiscovered, Farfan and Mendes Limited Group of Companies and the National Sports Commission.
