Victory Valley Royals (VVR) recorded back-to-back wins at the weekend to confirm their place in the semi-final round of the Road to Mecca National Club Championships at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

VVR scored the first 100-point game of the tournament with a 100-59 win over the Eagles on Friday before topping the Amelia’s Ward Jets 104-89 on Saturday for the second 100-point game of the tournament.

Daniel Lee had 23 points in the win over the Jets, while Orlando Glasgow dropped 22 points as well.  Harold Adams chipped in with 17 points in the game.

However, the win on Friday against the Eagles sealed their berth and Glasgow was critical again in the win with 25 points, while Lee had 16 points.

The four teams set for the semi-final will be the Kobras versus Ravens, while the second semi-final will be a rematch of last year’s final with Colts versus VVR.

Meanwhile, in other results over the weekend, Half Mile Bulls topped Canje Knights 54-49 on Friday, while on Saturday Ravens defeated Canjie 91-64, Guardians topped the Raiders 97-62 and the Pacesetters topped the Nets 93-71.
