Team Mohamed’s Nissan GT-R’s were unstoppable on Sunday when the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club’s King of the Strip 2 Drag Race meet was held at the South Dakota Circuit.
In the Unlimited Category (seven seconds), the GT-R proved too fast for the rail car driven by Trinidad and Tobago’s Andy Bissessar.
Driven by American Terrence Cox, the GT-R clocked 7.527 seconds to better its previous best of 7.569s, while the rail car was timed at 7.637s, a bit off its best of 7.29s achieved on home soil.
The GT-R also prevailed over Shawn Persaud’s Toyota Caldina, clocking 7.637s. The Caldina was timed at 8.729s.
In a head-to-head GTR clash, the Goliath prevailed over the Nismo, while Persaud’s Caldina won the eight-second class.
The nine-second class was won by Raj Panday, while the 10-second class was won by Damion Persaud. Michael Namchand and Raymond John, both of Suriname, won the 11 and 12-second classes respectively, Troy Kowlessar won the 13-second.
