A 53-year-old fisherman of Bush Lot, Essequibo Coast was arrested during a road-block, hours after he allegedly stabbed a Labourer to death today.
According to a police report, 35-year-old Naresh Ramadhar of Third Street, Bush Lot, Essequibo Coast was stabbed during an argument with the suspect at around 12:15hrs on the public road.
Police say he was stabbed once with a knife to the chest and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie Public Hospital. The body is at the hospital’s mortuary awaiting postmortem examination.
