A Security Officer attached to Massy Security today appeared before Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore, charged with stealing money from his employer.
Shaquan Williams of Mocha, East Bank Demerara denied that on April 20, 2018, at Ruimveldt, Georgetown while being employed at Neal and Massy Store, he stole $434,900.
The unrepresented man was released on $100,000 bail and the matter is adjourned to May 30.
According to reports, on the day in question, Williams was on duty at the Store when he was entrusted with securing the daily sales.
However, it was later revealed that the money was never handed over to the company.
