Berbice, U-17s to meet in U-19 Inter-county final

Berbice will look to add the 50-over title to their recent Three-day success when they meet the Select Under-17s in the final of the Hand-In-Hand Under-19 Inter-county 50-over competition on Saturday at the Lusignan ground, East Coast Demerara.

Kevlon Anderson did the main damage, claiming 5-12, while Keith Simpson bagged 3-7.

Berbice then knocked off the target for the loss of five wickets in 28.5 overs. Man-of-the-Match Anderson topscored with 15, Junior Sinclair made 14 and Alex Algoo 13.

Joel Fortune and Sherlon Anthony took two wickets each. Meanwhile, due to rain there was no play between Demerara and the Select Under-17s in the other scheduled game at Everest ground.
